We have verified that there are CD's radio with a mechanics very similar to the one we have but with the trays of different shapes, the mechanics work, the only thing that will have to replace the laser optical head of the old mechanics by the one that brings the new one (provided the problem that we have is mechanical and not of reading discs, in which case, we should only replace the optics).
